The dragoness smirked as she stepped through the blaze that was alight on the buildings and bodies of the human warriors. The dead fall leaves crunched beneath her paws and tail, her brown scales shimmering a light auburn when the flames would dare dance close to her.

She looked around the wreckage with a pleased smirk still stitched across her face, happy that only her alone had caused the humans to go into a frenzy like this. She jumped up onto a rooftop, her tail dangling through the roof of the house as she perched on it with her chest puffed out, wings flared, and a look of pure pride in her eyes. "This has been a glorious win for myself, wouldn't you agree, Mystic?" she said, looking to the glowing blue ball that floated near her.

The ball's light toned down a bit revealing a dark blue-green male lindworm type dragon with a pair of blue fairy wings whose tips curled up. His left side was adorned with swirling dark blue patterns of which matched his eyes. The only colour that wasn't on him were his horns which were pitch black. All in all, he wasn't a bad looking half breed!

At the question, the dragon-fae nodded. "Yes, m'lady. This was a glorious win indeed. Those humans really didn't know what hit them this time!" He said, remaining as respectful as possible to the female dragoness who just grinned and kept on perching, her gold eyes staring at the dying fires before her.

"Of course they didn't. They never expect a dragon to head-on attack their village and not pluck away their sacrifice!" She responded back with another firm nod before movement in the house below her caught her eye. "Hm?" She crouched down, looking into the home when a loud hiss followed by a golden yellow paw broke through the small hole the dragoness was looking into and swiped at her face. The dragoness reared back, blinking her gold eyes and flicking her tail while she semi-folded up her brown and dark green wings.

"Shifter!" She growled before using one of her massive paws to rip the roof off, revealing a female lioness, her human baby blue eyes giving away the fact she was a shifter. She stood protectively in front of a midnight blue and off white dragons egg. The egg had a crescent moon symbol on one side and a half of a yin-yang symbol on the other. Seeing the egg, the dragoness' instinct was high and she let out a growl to the shifter.

"Where'd you get the egg, hmm?" She growled, jumping inside the tiny home. The shifter continued to hiss and growl.

"Like I'd tell you! Now go away, you dragon! You're not welcome here!" The shifter growled before going to bite at the dragoness' leg, only for Mystic to fly down and use a blinding spell on her. The shifter hissed, covering her eyes with her paw and curling up into a tight ball. The dragoness then dashed forward, went into the air a bit, plucked the egg from its spot then flew off.

"Mystic, come!" Was shouted down to the little dragon-fae who made sure the shifter was still blinded before reverting back to his blue ball of light form and sped out after the dragoness.

The two then continued to speed back to their mountain cave, leaving the village they had just visited in complete ruins, fear, and disappointment.
LETS SEE IF I CAN KEEP UP A SERIES, OK?

So!
Some of you may remember my experimental comic series that I called 'Empty Promises'

Well, this is the exact same thing!

Only difference? It's in writing! <3

I'm doing it was a writing because A. I can't draw worth shit. B. I enjoy writing far more then drawing. C. I can't draw worth shit. And D. I'm just too slow with drawings. XD

Well, um...
I'm not saying what it's about unless people want me to.

I'm just doing this to see if people will actually want me to continue it. Herpderp.

This is all. <3

All the characters in this story and Empty Promises all belong to me. Got it? lD
